The disrespect for a former champ here is amazing. And Hasim has quite a few good wins, he is a shell of his former self and the Hasim that fought a few years ago would of beat Toney.

Rahman, the son of Oleg, still has the better quality wins than Quitali does.

"Bu, bu, but Vitali was so good at winning rounds!!"

Vitali was scared to fight Rahman. He pulled out three ****ing times. No one gets hurt that damn much. He new Rahman was going to whip that ass.

Wait a minute, Don King said Vitali would have been knocked out by the Rock ,that's why he chickened out at the last minute.:patsch

If Vitali could have he would have. You don't think a man who cannot even make it through training camp w/o hurting himself can't be beat?:patsch

Rahman didn't really quit he thought the result would be a no-contest and that they would rematch. If he knew it was gonna be ruled a TKO for Toney he would have told the doctor that the cut was fine.[/quote]

That's even WORSE - he was looking for a way out, and would have continued if he knew he was gonna lose. I'm so glad they didn't give him what he wanted. How shameful, to try and manipulate things in this way.

Really? I'm not saying you heard wrong....but I heard differently. Of course these are from boxing websites so i'm not sure who is correct. But I heard both times he was caught was with "traces" of Nandrolone in his system. Either way its banned!

Whether he wanted to heal quickly to up his recovery time or to gain advantages I have really no Idea. I just like to see the man's craft in the ring. It's really art the way he moves, how he sees and begins to set things up. He's just not natural at HW. I hope he doesn't get caught having traces of any band substances again.

They did fight a few yrs ago and Tondy beat him....but it was a contreversal draw. Toney at that point wasn't in fighting condition like he looked to be this weekend. Rock in the fight actually was at his best weight the 1st go round. JT beats rock any version.

That is just your subjective view. There was nothing controversial about the DRAW. While I am not a fan of Rahman by any means, I had him winning by a minimal margin.

All views are subjective! But it was considered by most a close fight. I just have a method to scoring fights and using that method James was more active, landed more and was more accurate. Rock in that fight pushed the action and was more powerful but he landed few meaningful shots and very few clean punches aside from the jab. So what I should have said.....it was a contreversal draw in my own view.!:good

While I agree with you about Toney being more accurate, Toney was not the more active fighter that night, it was actually Rahman who was trowing more punches. Toney was just trying to counter as usual.
