If this is the incident I think you're referring to then it was more like a few years ago and its fairly well known that he was alluding to Hamed. How true it actually is I don't know but it was a fairly widespread rumour.

 

I rememeber this, it werent that long ago actually probably last year.. no idea who though and I doubt we will ever know.

 

A lot more things in boxing go on than we realise.. In 1995 i remember picking Roger Mayweather up off the floor in the MGM when he was reeling round in a drugged haze.. He was incoherant and i was staggered as to how such a great world champ athlete could let himself get like that... Now he thinks his **** don't stink training his nephew like he created a monster.. truth being Roger is only a mit man who helps Floyd jr stay in top shape, he is not as clued up as you would think.. Jeff and Floyd sr are the boxing brains in that family , Floyd jr could teach Roger more than his uncle has ever absorbed...

 

he said it was a british world champ which at the time meant it was either gavin rees or junior witter if i remember correctly,then again it is warren aka mr bull****,so who knows.

 

boxers regularly get attacked in nightclubs - a lot fo blokes think that throwing a hard clenched fist in someone's jaw when they're not expecting it, for no reason, makes them harder and is an easy way of proving it.

Exactly what I've always thought about Roger Mayweather..... how can you even say who the greatest trainer is of all time? You can't. Some trainers get good fighters, some don't, simple as that really. Floyd Snr. taught his son everything he knows anyway right?
