Remember when boxers used to tattoo advertisements across their backs?

    I remember Hopkins used to rock the GoldenPalace.com across his back. I thought it looked pretty dope, and the ink stayed legible throughout the whole fight.
    He wasn't the only guy, but I remember him doing it the most....seemed to be really popular around 2005-2006 but then it pretty much went away..
    Does anyone know why? Was there some type of copyright infringement?

    It's possible networks didn't want this type of advertising, as it's something they have no say or no control over. But I recall when Hops did this for his fight w/ Tito. Word is he used the payment for the backtat to bet on himself to win. Worked a charm!
