No one gave him a chance NO ONE!

I find it funny people are calling Algieri a easy opponent do these same people don't understand chris's style is very very hard to look good against pac fighting maidana would be a easier fight because he comes forward.

Chris in his last 2 fights especially has proved he belongs at the elite level he has a wonderful jab one of the best in the sport today he has great movement he is a master boxer.

He is in his prime unbeaten and a champion

no I don't remember such a thing. no one in their right mind would count ANYONE out vs ruslan. a one dimensional brawler that isn't close to elite with his one dimension he uses.

stop trying to build this forgone conclusion win for pac as something more than a stay busy fight. he is fighting a boxer to see if he wants any of Floyd next yeat.

I predict a pac win that looks like garbage, I WILL NOT count chris out only due to pac not being all that great

I agree, poac fighting chino would be much better due to the toe to toe battle that would ensure, problem is pac would get stretched by chino from the first clean overhand right he lands

He may beat him ,there's already a rematch clause in the contract. Things that make you go humm.

    This.

Obvious agenda thread is obvious agenda thread.

Beating Provodnikov isn't doing too much. A good win, no doubt. Not a great one, especially when you factor in that more than half of people on this forum (not myself) scored it in favor of Provodnikov with many citing a robbery and spoiler tactics (not myself).

    Devil's advocate:

    He is 30+ years old.

"Being unbeaten shows he hasn't fought anyone!!!"

He holds a belt at Welterweight?!? That's news to me.

I reckon Chris will give a good account of himself. I was very impressed with his performance against Ruslan

Yeah that's why the odds are so close...:patsch

Stop trying to make this easy win look better than it what it really is. Algieri will lose and you know it, stop trying to justify PAC fighting him. If mayweather was fighting Algieri I can imagine the thread spamming from you of how bad Algieri is (even though he's actually quite a good fighter) and I'm sure you'd have a different opinion of the provodnikov result if it was floyd fighting him.

    Moron.

Provodnikov lost a close fight to Bradley
Bradley lost both fights to Pacman.

Algieri is not even on Bradley's level, never mind Pacmans.

Ooh using their words against them.. I like.. That goes for Bradley too then..

"That 0 means nothing", "Even Ali lost", "Being undefeated means you ducked the best"...
