Anyone also remember that after the $40M offer was floated out there in 2012 that Pacquiao's side said they would only do the fight in June even though they knew Mayweather would be in jail at that time? What's a better way to avoid a fight, offer your opponent $40M or telling your opponent that they can only fight she said opponent will be unavailable to fight?

Anyone who is not deep inside floyd's ass knew it was a joke of an offer tantamount to pricing himself out. Why would someone who regularly breaks 1M PPV buys would not be offered a single ppv share and wants the whole ppv pie for himself when he offered lesser guys like canelo and cotto some upside?

We all know that it is a joke just like when floyd demanded that arum must step aside in order for the fight to get made. Floyd just tried tp avoid fighting pacquiao for as long as he can.

Sources says Manny could be taking more than 100M.

Floyd could be taking 150M. and more.

And Floydiots says 40M. was a fair offer. LOL!

Thanks to Floyd's Boss (Moonves) made this fight finally happen.

:patsch dude you have some pretty bad tunnel vision, Cause right now you're sounding like a bigot.

80 million plus PPV > 40 million no PPV

Pacquiao made 30 million for fighting JMM in 2011

Pac will be getting the same forty mil once Arum takes his customary chunk.

You mean to say if Pacquiao accepted the first offer ($40M) by Floyd , Arum will not take his customary chunk ?

    $40M - Arum's chunk = ?

    $80 - Arum's chunk = ?

    Big difference :deal

It was just another way of trying to save face whilst avoiding the greatest boxer of this generation. Drug tests, derisory offers, asking Pac to sign with Mayweather promotions, asking him to dump Top Rank. All nakedly ducking manoeuvres that only absolute morons would take seriously. Luckily for Mayweather, morons make up the lion's share of his core support.

Nobody thought that it was a legitimate offer. Everyone thought that it was a low ball offer. Stop lying to the masses. Floyd has his fanatics just like Pac has YOU Trippy.

Arum would have been cut out of the 40 million dollar deal.
