It wasn't a serious offer at all. It was just a way for Floyd to look as though he was making an attempt to make the fight With PAC. He knew Manny wasn't going to accept which was the idea. It would have been like Pac offering Floyd $40 million without ppv money. Floyd would have laughed and said Pac wasn't serious....and he would have been right.

Manny made close to $40 million before in one night with PPV money so that offer was laughable. Manny has made $79 million in one year in 2 fights which is why there was NO way he was going to take the $40 million offered by Floyd a few years back. That's why no one really believed that Floyd wanted the fight.....well, some of his fans believed him but that's not surprising. Floyd could say he was Jesus and Allah and his most loyal fans would find a way to convert to Catholicism and Islam without thinking twice.

He's only made that 2 times on SHO since his contract. With Nelo and Cotto. The other fights have been just his guarantee which was $32 million. Pac has the 2nd highest guarantee at $25 million. But his PPV revenue like Floyds havent been enough to add to their take home money.
