Remember when Floyd was so eager to prove the critics wrong in the Gatti fight?

PBF will destroy Pac. Pac is still the same. A lil better with his movement but he is always off balance when he throws. PBF will make him pay dearly for this.
I am not a huge fan of PBF but If JMM is a bad style matchup for Pac then PBF is his Kyrptonite

A lot of people are already picking Pacman to beat Mayweather already, moreso then Gatti I would bet.

    Nope.

Before that his legend was growing immensely until he ran into Castillo.

He started to recover some of that luster with a convincing victory in the rematch and a lot of his fans just went overboard when he beat Gatti probably due to the criticism he got for the first Castillo fight and the string of cherrypicked opponents afterwards!

And YES the Cherrypicking label started to take hold post-Castillo not before!

Actually nope. He was a boxing God to those who know and follow boxing. His fight against Gatti allowed him to show himself as a boxing God to the general public who had a love affair with any and all things Gatti.

By this point Mayweather had already made easy work of the likes of Manfredy, Hernandez, Corrales, Chavez, etc making them look less than mortal . . . especially Corrales who had been absolutely obliterating the competition up until that point, lest you forget. He made the man cry in the ring.

****, I never counted but he must have the most instances of a corner throwin' in the towel that I've seen during that time period. That's sheer dominance . . . over world class fighters, too.

He must have been a god to those who followed Floyd but those in "the know" (as you put it) are not so easilly influenced and started to question
Floyd after that loss and moreso after cherrypicking started.

PBF has been disrespected. The very fact that they discount the fact that PBF is the best defensive fighter of his era and saying Pac or JMM by KO is an example of this.:deal IMO he will come back with a point to prove and show people once again why he's the P4P #1 in the sport when he left.

Damn right! He's going to show that beating a fighter barely a LW is how you take care of business.

He has noone to blame but himself for the disrespect he's been getting for quite a while.

But I agree that anyone who automatically thinks Pac or JMM(or anyone for that matter) would easily KO PBF is not thinking clearly!

If Floyd had Pac's balls, he would not have a single hater. Too bad he has DLH's balls instead...

I guess he started cherrypicking directly after he took an immediate rematch and beat Castillo soundly to quiet the naysayers. I swear, sometimes I don't understand you guys?!?!?! :huh

If you're going to bother to respond, then at least read the post carefully.

I said the cherryppicking started after Castillo.

As a matter of fact I was a fan then and have always respected PBF for asking for an immediate rematch.

That barely lightweight knocked out two lightweights that were champs that have never been stopped and one that never been nearly stopped. Its not like JMM came up to lightweight fighting cans..the dude is BETTER at the higher weights..:rofl He knocked Casa out and Diaz out. You dont just do that. **** like that dont happen back to back.
