Gamboa was so good its a shame what happened to his career. He had no business being in the ring with TC he was way too big, and if you go rewatch the fight gamboa was making TC look bad for the first 4 or 5 rounds.

Gamboa is a moron. If he kept his hands up and didnt fight like a damn bulldog, he could have beaten Crawford.

And credit to Salido, hes still fighting the top guys while Gamboa´s career is stagnant.

His career unraveling is his own undoing. It's insane some of the things that he did in the correct weight class.

I give Terence Crawford VERY LITTLE CREDIT for the Gamboa fight.
Gamboa was merely a 'good' fighter only at Lightweight, not the elite monster he was at featherweight. He was far too small for that weight class, he should have been at 130lbs max.
Also, he had been looking so unimpressive for years before that fight.

Gamboa's performance against Salido was the most impressive performance anyone put in against Salido. Marquez and Mikey lost control of the fight and Loma looked like a lost boy.

Salido would knock him out in a rematch

    He's improved greatly

I agree. Mikey basically quit, the fight was going south for him and he wanted out. Lomachenko was lost. Gamboa was dicing salido up with combos, catching him with 3 - 4 punches flush. It was a complete ass whooping. Nobody has done that to modern salido.
