What's wrong for saying Cotto will give FMJ a hard fight. Of course it's true any opponent FMJ faces now will give him problems because of his advance age, but still pick FMJ TKO10 but Cotto will give him a hard time

seriously, cotto was not weight drained. Can peopl stop saying this. Cotto is on record numerous times saying he was fine with the weight.

He weighed 146 against clottey, and he was fine 145.

The catchweight was put in so we could get the super fight in the 1st place, because Manny wasn't a welterweight at this point.

    You *****s never stop

Give it up, nothing to hype here, Cotto is a good level below fmj... this is yet another 2nd prize fight being fed to us by fmj or pac, I won`t be paying to see either of the ***gots vs 2nd prize opponents until they man up & fight each other, anyone that pays to watch these clowns are ****in fools. They`re a disgrace to the sport.

You damned right he is. Miguel Cotto can do what he needs to do. His trainer is teaching some very important techniques during their training camp and that's wonderful. However, I must say that when the fight is on, Miguel Cotto reverts back to making some of the same mistakes that allowed Margarito and Pacquiao to land shots on him. In the 2 part 24/7 from Cotto's last fight, he was on the beach with his traininer working on footwork. I thought the trainer was doing Miguel Cotto a huge favor by conditioning him to pivot and turn, as opposed to going backwards. I thought that was one of the best things his trainer could've done for him. When the time came for Cotto to fight, he was still skipping around the ring trying to avoid contact with Margarito. When Harold Lederman was sounding off with his scorecards, he asked if Miguel Cotto can win a fight running away. He was skipping around seemingly trying his hardest to avoid contact. He better not do that with Floyd! Floyd will kill him. He's lightyears faster than Margz and he's a notch or 2 faster than Pacquiao. He's also taller than Pacquiao and Pac caught Cotto with that straight left (that made Kenny Bayless stop the fight) from a little ways away from him. Floyd's range is about 1.5 feet further out. He will clock Miguel Cotto. Floyd will be more than ready and he's going to retire Miguel Cotto.

That's actually a fair point. Cotto knows his body better than anyone else. So if he said he wasn't drained, we should take his word for it; kind of like how we should take his word for it when he says he's in his prime and feels great mentally and physically heading into this fight.

Cotto was NOT a tougher fight for Pac than JMM. End of thread.

Pac was badly beaten up by Cotto and Margarito considering that was a one-sided fight for Manny..

Pac was soundly beaten by Morales on their first meeting and barely beating Marquez for 3 tries..

I wonder which is his hardest fight.. :think

The first few rounds of Cotto vs. Pac were great. It was the knockdown at the end of the fourth that really turned the tide.

You are getting me pumped for the 5th, BigReg. I'm trying to temper my excitement, but know that come fight night I will be pacing and yelling at the tv.

It doesn't matter. What matters is that Pacquiao felt that his fight with Cotto was a tough battle despite him winning in lopsided fashion; unless you think Pacquiao is lying about Cotto being a tough fight for him(I'm not sure why he would do that). Margo beat him down in their first fight, but he took a hell of a beating himself. I can't remember the last guy to get in the ring with Cotto without getting busted up. Cotto has heavy hands, and brings it every fight. We all know what Money May brings to the table.
