    :deal

I just did a poll a week ago and it had Groves overwhelmingly beating Bute. The Bute hype-train was a sad one because he was so f-cking over-protected, I'm glad Froch effectively ended the hype train and smashed it to pieces.

Any chance of fighting Ward would be an awful mismatch, Ward would destroy him. Froch would beat Bute agian, Groves would beat Bute, GGG would destroy him like he did in the Amateurs and Direll would handle Bute.

Groves is 10x the fighter Bute is.

Most boxing fans know this by this point.

Bute was the 'world class' fighter that turned out to be a hype-job while Groves was billed as the 'hype-job' that turned out to be world class'.

    Styles make fights.

Bute would still put ward in a world of hurt.

You guys know that Bute beat more convincingly Bika than Ward, and the Road warrior than Groves. Plus, given few more minutes and Groves would have probably been KO and have the beating of his live (that is, the ref did stop it too early).

No he didn't. The Groves - Johnson fight was just about as one sided as a fight can get.

Johnson was shot to **** both when he fought Bute and Groves though.

Bute has a better style for Ward than Froch. Styles make fights. You clowns who think cause A beat B and lost to C then C trounces B need to learn more about the sport.

I agree, Bute would still lose to Ward though. I think Bute is mentally shot; He might not even get past Pascal.

The skill was never comparable and the styles never lined up in Bute's favor...

I never understood how people thought Bute could beat Ward. Actually, I do. People were thinking with their heart and not the head.

Wich "head" was Ward thinking with by not taking the Bute fight, let say in Montreal, his biggest payday to date. His head knew it would have been his biggest chalenge.

Wich head was Kessler thinking by refusing to counter offer him.

Wich head was Pavlic thinking when he pull out of a fight with Bute.

Bute got rock early against Froch, and lost his legs. Plus Froch is a good finisher. I guess according to some that makes Bute a bum.
