You don't need wars imo to push you over the hill, time a lone will do that. Add the fact he's 36 soon 350 amateur fights and a pro a long time now and its very conceivable! Hes noticeably slower ! Not everyone juices and gets longer out of their careers (Hopkins)

    Fair point about nerves.

However, GGG hasn't looked as good for a while for whatever reason. Since the Wade fight he's looked less than spectacular. My personal opinion is that he's fallen in love with his chin / power and tends to walk through his opponents instead of boxing them.

That Hopkins comment just proves you to be just another idiotic loser and I won't bother responding constructively to creatures like that. Farewell.

See you are the type of person I’m talking about, he can’t put away the top middle weight how can you possibly say he can hurt a HW. Unless your just talking about a untrained guy off the street, if you are talking about a top 50 HW, GGG couldn’t do anything to those guys.

Price has power, if he hit most boxers clean he would scramble their brains, people do not understand how much force you have to generate to knock out a 6’3-6’6 230+ lb man.

Dude u just got trolled that is all.. What I like about 3G haters is for years they were saying he has a **** resume & all he has is power, then when he fights to decisions (shows he can box) & steps up opposition level (Lemmy, Jacobs, Canelo, Brook) he always had overrated power & they (some of em anyway) 'beat him'! Looollllll ****ing closet peacocks, don't think so... He pressured the Mexican out of Alvarez, neutralized Jacobs power, baptized Brook at 160 & showed Lemmy who was the real boss (at trading bombs) at MW! Margins always narrow as you step up u naive twats! Least he's never acted like a ***** at 160 like Bhop did... Going got tough & he'd ***** out feigning **** or just got down & dirty in the prison yard again! Get bumped on your head by another white boy u old turkey loolloolll

I'd rather give his opponents more credit than simply blame him. I'll be honest here. I always stated that GGG is nothing out of the ordinary or spectacular as most of his fans constantly argued he was. He has A class chin and good power and that's about it. There's nothing else that is ultimately insane about him. He needed serious tests to actually prove himself and he barely had any. Alvarez was the first opponent that was actually mainstream with legitimate experience and the result was hardly surprising. With all the praise about Golovkin's ability, you would've expected a lot more observers to pick him to win by early KO but they didn't, to the majority of observers, they said it's a 50/50 fight.

He didn't really fall in love with his chin. That's how he always fought. He never had great defense and always charged in head first. That's his fighting style.

GGG is the kind of guy that looks amazing beating up a certain type of fighters, C+ level guys with no power or speed like Murray, Geale, Macklin, Rosado etc Of course these guys were getting stopped, they have no punch to keep GGG off them.

It's no coincidence that as soon as GGG stepped up to B+ level his power disappeared Arthur Abraham style. Absolutely nothing to do with him 'getting old'. No version of GGG stops Jacobs or Canelo, these guys are simply a lot better and aren't tailor made for him like the long line of guys that came before them. Golovkins power has been massively overblown. A real power puncher would have knocked a welterweight like Kell Brook out cold with the kind of shots he was landing.

You summed him up perfectly although I will say he does have a great jab, beside his power and chin those are his A level attributes. He’s a very good fighter and one of the better middleweights of the era but some fans take it too far.

Yes he does have a terrible resume. Didn't most of his fans claim he would smoke Alvarez in 3 rounds tops?, what happened there?. Alvarez isn't exactly one of the many tomato cans that would drop face-front upon first contact like 90% of Golovkin's opponents.
