This dude doesn't know what he's talking about. He's been holding this talking point to me and refuses to accept it. I thought he was ranked 8th or 9th by RING but wasn't going to say anything.

He could probably stop David Price TBF.

Clearly GGG could KO 'some' HW's. The question is what is the best HW that he could take out.

I seriously doubt it. GGG is hittable and one shot off Price will turn his lights out and id bank on Price landing clean before Golovkin does... Price also has a pretty good uppercut and that's a shot Golovkin is susceptible to.

He could beat somebody like Eddie Chambers or possibly Chris Byrd during his IBF run.

You reckon GGG could take out Byrd? Wow.

If they were the same size, sure, but they're not. Byrd should win this.

GGG would leave Donkey Windmill drooling on the canvas.

It's called defense. Canelo and Jacobs both utilized it. If you let GGG swing on you, then of course you'll go down. If GGG fought Wilder though, he probably wouldn't get close enough to Wilder to do any damage.

Nice try. Those ratings are from the Jan 2013 issue of RING. Which would have been after Golovkin destroyed Proksa.

Like I said: "He entered 2012 as #4 before Golovkin and entered 2013 as #10 after the Golovkin fight."

s selected by The Ring magazine Ratings Panel online through Jan 1, 2013

You will find Daniel Geale was in the top 5 from 12/2010-12/2014. That is 4 years!

I don't understand why both of you are trying to pretend the Geale fight didn't happen and are clinging to this Lemieux BS. You didn't even try to address the Geale fight, do you think if you ignore something, it will just go away. Another big ass baby.

Because they're Wlad wins and he has to make sure to trash them. lol

Thinking Golovkin could KO a guy that survived Vitali, Wlad, Tua, Golota, Holyfield, McCline, and Thunder is overrating him far more than you and I ever have.

For one thing Proksa vs Hope was a moderately controversial result against a UK fighter in the UK. Proksa under performed after a cut from a headbutt but even Glenn McCrory still had it 115-113 Proksa. But being following this guy so closely like you claimed, I'm sure you already knew that...

He destroyed the man and knocked him out. That's all you can do.

It was not RING's panel first time seeing him. Golovkin destroyed a fighter their publication had just rated as high as #4.

    Sure.

You used the 2011 ratings to claim Proska was top 5 when Golovkin fought him in 2012. Golovkin fought Prosk after he was out out of the top 5 by Kerry Hope. The end of 2012 have him ranked at #10.

The 2011 ratings are from Dec. 31, 2011. They are the ratings entering 2012. Cognitive thought is not a crime, use your brain.

The end of 2012 ratings...oh, so you can be specific when it suits you. How surprising. Yes, end of 2012..as in after Golovkin beat this guy from pillar to post, he was still rated top 10.

Thats a mistake on my part , i admit that. Now if you like , you can admit your mistake about Proska. I couldn't care less if you do or not , but the fact remains that he wasn't ranked in the top 5.

Proska lost to Hope half way through 2012. You used the ratings from 2011 to try and claim he was top 5 when Golovkin fought him.
