The, "veiled racism" isn't from me. It's an aspect that the WWE has harnessed for quite a long time.

In the WWE, the drama for the, "wrestlers" is staged. Razor Ramon may be some parody of a latino thug, and to many of us we may have laughed at the parody of the character. But to others they really see him as some greezy ****.

Dave Chapelle stopped doing comedy for this exact reason. He presents parody's a lot of the time so we can laugh at the stereotype of the crack head, and laugh at race issues. To sophisticated people we are laughing with him in his clever humor. Others laugh at the ****** crackhead..

    You get it?

That's why I say it's devolving. We are appealing to something we shouldn't.

When I see GSP, Cain, I see good talented fighters. I think of GSP as a fighter turned businessman. An athletic guy who is going to try and win by calculated means.. He seems to try to minimize risk. With Cain I see a guy who is a lot like many Chicanos as far as background who has excelled in MMA.

Uhhhh, news flash. Sonnen is a bum. Basically a submission magnet. He beats a hype job in Stann and it is supposed to change this?

Where do these noobs come from?

Anderson will embarass him the next time.

I never **** on Sonnen. The dude should have entered the UFC as the reigning WEC middleweight champion but his victory over Paulo Filho was tainted by Paulo's failed weigh in.

Sonnen is the only man that can defeat Silva as he can take him to the ground and dominate with world-class wrestling skills and improving submission aptitude. He is not the all-round athlete that Anderson is who is just a freak of nature with his timing, striking ability and jits but that don't mean much when a world-class wrestler is on you and grounding and pounding you most of the fight. No man gets Sonnen off of him once he has you on your back. Still Silva will probably find a way to win but we are all going to pay to see that fight and all else is rubbish.

Exactly. How are some idiots fooled by this. We all know that Dana encourages the circus act bull****. ****, the last time vs. Anderson that ***** even admitted it was all for show.

The main flaw with Sonnen is his lack of ground and pound. In this respect he's worst than Jon Fitch - look back at the fight against Silva and how many times he punched him in the head and at no point was the champion in danger of being rocked let alone knocked out. In twelve Zuffa fights he has yet to win A SINGLE FIGHT by TKO - Saturday was the first time he had finished an opponent since 2007.

That means to defeat Silva he's probably going to have to stay on top of Silva for 5 rounds. That means if everything goes according to plan for Sonnen, Silva still has 5 opportunities to knock his head off and twenty five minutes to submit. Against someone as dangerous as Silva that's too much. People look to the submission but there's more than a few occasions where in the second half of that fight Silva was starting to look very threatening standing.

I understand its the most marketable fight that can be made but to me its a **** fight. Those two flaws already allowed Silva to defeat Sonnen when a busted rib was clearly impairing his mobility and Sonnen was on the gas. I'm not saying Sonnen can't win but given he failed when literally everything was in his favour I don't see why I should invest in him as an especially dangerous challenger now.

    Bingo!!!

After the 1st round Sonnen's gnp wouldnt make a sound on a pair of bongo drums and Silva worked for a Kimura whilst Chael had his BACK!

Exactly. Odds are strongly in favour of yet another routine stoppage win for Anderson :-(:)-((

Look at that and tell me he's not acting like a WWE Star-Champion. I'm willing to acknowledge his skill, I just hate how he stains this sport and brings more of this mentally inferior audience to MMA.

Especially after last fight, he's now officially a product of the Professionnal Wrestling business. :-(
