Remember when we used to get quality boxing videos?

Yeah. If they ever go back to that, they need to start with Usyk/Fury 1. Highlight the undersized, underdog, sometimes called the midget, not only beat Goliath but stop him in the 9th, only to be robbed of the stoppage. I would love that.

 

I thought Reznik used to be the best, his music selection and editing was amazing. Alas, time moves on.

Hanza has been at it for 13 years now, nowadays bumping out at least 4 videos a month. Its somewhat unreal.
He must really, really love the sport and making those videos.

They were great when YouTube was in its early stages and access to full fights was tricky. You could get a sense of what a fighter was about in their highlight video.

 

The last few years Youtube has underwent "shitification" where the culture has changed from a helpful resource with endless information on everything to a place where grifters with nice thumbnails try and trick you into clicking on a video which is giving you very little.

 

He's a real one.

 

Was just thinking about how the era of quality YT boxing highlights seems to be over. Really enjoyed a lot of those channels.
