[YT]669885[/YT] That was quite the performance, possibly the greatest performance on one night by a fighter. Call me crazy but ever since the arm break I've seen Shogun diminish in skill each and every fight, he looked shaky against Nakamura and against Griffin, well it didn't even look like the same fighter, he threw two measly punches and then dived for the takedown, he did so nearly all night pretty unsuccesfully. The tempo the speed and the striking seems to have gone to ****, he was seriosuly hurting Rampage with single punches in their fight but is now scared to throw. Even at this young age have we already seen the best Shogun has to offer? Did he peak early in his life? Is it down hill from here?
I don't belive he peaked. He just seems weary to engage. Ever since the arm break he has reliede on his ground game for than his MT. He just needs to rebuild confidance in his standup.
