    Simon Brown did not use the nickname "The Real Beast." GLENWOOD Brown did.

    Simon Brown is one of my all-time favorites.
    (The only fighter during his WW run that I wanted a 140lbs Chavez to avoid)

    Brown was a very good fighter would give anyone around today a run for their money.

    Both, Simon was @ his absolute best as a welterweight.

    He was a very good WW in a solid WW era (which gets forgotten due to the amazing era that followed).

    His first bout with Trice was a great, great fight.

    Your right !! I totally forgot about that guy, he looked very similar to simon brown in looks and style just not as talented.

    Yeah, Glenwood was more of a fringe contender/journeyman type (although like many, he may have at one point held some alphabet title. I frankly can't remember).

    Simon, on the other hand, was one of the best 147 pounders of the post Leonard era, a top grade world class fighter.

    This is the GF. Nobody here knows Simon Brown.

    They probably think Brown is someone Khan could have beaten.
