    Of Course Chavez was near the end... and out of his real weight.

    A great victory for Whitaker nonetheless. Not a bad version of Chavez by any means but not the best.

    Was this a bigger fight than the Taylor Fight? People now are quick to point out that JCC was a little past it at this point. But then again, ESB is the birthplace of shot 30 year old fighters.

    No one is saying he was shot.... he was just not at his best. I think the bigger issue was that he did not really belong at 147. I think you would agree with that. Whitaker was a far superior 147 pound fighter.

    Defitnately Don King work. Just like the Trinidad-DLH fight. It was fights like this that lead to our sports unpopularity.
