As for these troll accusations, we're nine pages deep and I don't recall a single poster making any valid counterpoints to the comparisons I made in the OP.

What I see is a bunch of trinket counting, glorification of moving up through garbage weightclasses, and baseless accusations of ducks while having a convenient set of excuses for Inoue missing out on the four best fighters in the only stacked division he ever participated in.

Could it be that posters here prefer a guy who resembles an anime protagonist over a guy with a goofy Baltimore accent and history of questionable to reprehensible behavior outside the ring?

Nonito's ghost is still better than anything on Tank's resume.

And how is it a fall off if he regained titles in between those losses to competent elite guys? That's not a fall off, he even at an advanced age was still completely in the mix. Then you brought up Foreman and Holmes, they weren't winning titles nor in legit title contention like post prime Nonito..................(there but for the grace of God George caught lightning in a bottle against Moorer).

Inoue's resume is light years beyond Tank's. It simply is. Also you chose to completely ignore the fact Inoue in a span of 13 months grabbed 8 belts in 2 different weight classes. That's never been done so quickly in history. So yeah...........Inoue being ranked 1 or 2 is completely appropriate.

Foreman became lineal at heavyweight and Holmes beat Mercer who vacated the WBO belt right before fighting Holmes. Holmes also almost beat McCall for a belt. And heavyweight titles are harder to win than 118 titles.

Donaire went from losing to Magdaleno and Frampton to fighting Burnett. Burnett was beating Donaire, but had a history of back problems and pulled a muscle in his back. Donaire's punch did cause or have something to do with that, but 99% of boxers wouldn't be vulnerable to that injury. And Oubali just wasn't a good fighter. There's no evidence there that Donaire was better than anyone Tank fought.

I don't talk about belt grabbing because it's meaningless to me. Inoue got dropped hard by a punch drunk Luis Nery in his last fight so he's probably not quite at Tank's level. I don't know if he won a belt on that night and don't really care.

You're basically going to be a top 30 ATG if you belt grab like that around 135 because the depth totally dwarfs the smaller divisions.

You don't talk about belt grabbing but you brought up how close Holmes came to having the WBO title (which at the time was as credible as the WBU title). And then in the same breath discredit winning 8 belts in two divisions in a year. No one in history has done that at that speed. Then you try to discredit Nery who also is honestly more lauded and higher ranked at both of his campaigned weights than anyone Tank has fought. And he was the last person at the top left at 122 as Inoue had already taken Fulton and Tapales out. Tank ain't did that yet. He has not even fought the number 1, 2 or 3 in any division let alone cleared any divisions yet. Even Shakur took down the #1 at SFW.

I hate that you're even making me argue against someone I'm one of the only fans of on here. But ok man.....................

I'm simply playing your game, but you already knew that. You're now falling back on lies. Tank has beaten three or four Mexcians who currently are or already were more highly regarded than Nery (Barrios is borderline), let alone the guys on his resume who aren't Mexican. Once again, glitter on a turd.

It's not a numbers game, but if it is, Tank is the one getting digits.

And? He is also the only one reluctant to face the top of his division.

Already said you guys were fanning out on Inoue for being a real life anime character while Gervonta gets himself into trouble outside of the ring. Has nothing to do with their win columns and performances in the ring though.

No proof. He wouldn’t have fought Ryan and Martin if he were ducking.
