I don't even know for sure what you're trying to say here, but from what i gather, heres a repsonse: it was pretty obvious Kovalev respected Hopkins more and didn't really go after him until Bernard taunted him. He likes Hopkins. He loathes Pascal. That's the difference in his aggression amd urge to punish in those two fights.
You do realise the jump from LHW to CW is 25lbs right? It's the biggest leap there is bar getting in the ring with some of the SHW's that run the HW scene now. It's not a move up to be taken lightly.
