so you couldn't refute what i said so resorted to a child like and obnoxious remark in return? you must be the real deal going by your reply.

if my tea was cold, i'd just make a new one. no cold tea in this household.

sorry that my post lacked wit. but in future, i'll look out for your posts to see how it's done. :good

and most of those Americans are going for a paycheck they didn't earn nor deserve. not to give a genuine challenge.

    big difference.

this thread sucks, anyone can refer to whatever they want in their heritage. If you want to maximise ticket sales you'd be a fool not to maximise your audience.

I've refuted the Froch "has the greatest résumé ever" canard more times than I care to recount, crumpet muncher.

I have no desire to revist it again. Froch lost two of his three biggest fights and should have lost to Dirrell.

Now go... get out of here. The important posters are posting.

O sorry I didn't know Carl Froch went to America to fight for the love of the sports and not for the financial reward. It seems some of you guys over the pond are a little thick. The main source of revenue in boxing is not live ticket sales, rather its television right. Andre Bato couldn't sale out a high school gym yet he was being payed more than majority of your fighters.

yeah of course tickets sales but by that I mean maximising potential income too, which includes every penny you make. That do?

I certainly don't mean that you should sell yourself JUST for tickets and not for television (which would be a pointless venture maximising one not the other...and also kinda impossible since selling yourself in the media improves both tickets and tv rights, not selectively one), although I did write that sorry if I wasn't clear.

you copy and pasted HerolGee's post.

the fights weren't going to happen in the UK, so Carl had no choice but to travel.

do you remember all the commotion with Carl trying to get Taylor into the ring? Taylor with all his "who is Carl Froch?" remember?. Carl had to resort to calling him names to make sure he took up his mandatory position. it worked, but it had to happen in the states. it wasn't for the money. Carl just wanted to fight the best so he took it.

then came the Super Six Tournament.

the money wasn't that good you know. he only got $375,000 for the final against Ward.

had these fights of taken place in the UK, Carl would have earned Millions, not Thousands.

just look at the money Carl is earning now. he's one of the highest paid in all of boxing. :deal

Error on my part, I mistakenly replied to HeroGee instead of you and tried to copy and paste the same comment to you but somehow copied Harold's comment instead.

Has it occurred to you that maybe Carl's profile went up right after his big victory over Bute and has nothing to with fighting in England. He wasn't earning that much before he fought Bute. Since you like posting numbers why don't you tell us how much Carl got payed against Andre Dirrille since that fight took place at Carl's backyard. Thats like me saying had Timothy Bradley fought Junior Witter in the state he will be earning more. Since after that fight Tim has been one of highest payed boxers in the sports. In fact Tim is earning more than Carl even though Tim can't sale **** in the U.S. Again, television right is the main source of revenue in boxing and much less to do with live gate.

Lennox Claudius Lewis was born in LONDON ENGLAND which makes him not only a British subject but a ****NEY to boot. Lennjox was taken to Canada by his Mum at 12 yrs old. Where Lennox lives today has no bearing on his nationality

The Italian dragon. Remind yourself of the Welsh flag you ignorant yanks! It's referring to BOTH his Italian and Welsh heritage.
