having said that,as much as he is a ***** and lets be honest the lad he fought last night had only fought once since 2010 so was as rusty as a nuns fanny,but eubank is sharp and throws good combos,BUT he is no where near going to be world class:deal

 

I thought he looked good. He's fighting regularly and is getting a lot of exposure on Channel 5. He might not be a huge puncher, but he's getting the rounds and experience he needs. For his size and with his speed asset, I'm wondering if he planted his feet more, perhaps he would carry more weight behind his shots. Perhaps the plan is for him to not blow out everyone he faces but to instead get a good workout and experience. :roll:

 

People slag him off but his team are doin a cracking job. Too much posturing and a bit of an attitude but he has skills, speed and can entertain so he has the tools. Power may come, it may not. But hes skilled and active. No pleasing some on here

 

Stop being silly. Technique, Timing and Accuracy play a massive part in someones punching 'power'. All of which will be improved in time with the right training. And besides, power isn't everything.

And of coarse power aint everything, defence and speed play a big part, but eubank hasnt much in either department , some but he is not outstanding, which help a lot when u step it up a level.

He might be cocky, but the thing I do respect is he gets in the ring often and is always in impressive condition so we can infer he is taking the game seriously even if some of his in-ring antics suggest otherwise on occasion. Cut him some slack eh...

 

He's had nine fights in less than a year, more than 50 rounds of boxing and not one soft outing that I've seen.

OK, his dad's name meant that he was always likely to get more than his fair share of exposure and he's being a bit cocky a bit soon. But does he work hard? Looks like it to me. Does he disrespect & trash-talk his opponents? No.

He's more of a credit to himself and his family than the thread starter seems to be.

His footwork (pouncing around like a lion cub) and his power are severely lacking. No reason why he couldn't win a British title. Don't think he will be a world titlist unless he end ups fighting 40 odd fights first and improves dramatically.
