I don't think Floyd wants Pac really.. I thinkhe was hoping to beat JMM, claim JMM beat Pac and then say he beat the guy that beat the guy. While also hoping somebody else takes out Pac in the meantime. Why else would'nt he wait a little longer and just come out of retirement and challenge Pac after he beaat Hatton.?

 

The JMM/Marquez fight was being negotiated way before Pac/Hatton fought. The Marquez fight is a clear sign they're hyping a future fight with Pac(who beat two guys Mayweather already did).

After 2 years off a fight with Marquez then Pac after him isn't bad. The injury is what made things complicated and got Pac to consider a fight with Cotto, otherwise Pac announced he wasn't going to fight anyone till Marquez/Mayweather is over.

As obvious as it is that PAcfloyd should happen - same as it was that Cott-floyd should have happened last year,

...some people are going to be very surprised and disappointed when they come to the realization floyd fears Pacquiao and will either price himself out or concoct a host of other different exucses to duck Pacman. rumor has it HBO is not going to push for it, and that's a big problem.

 

freedie roach even said himself that pacquio would be in his toughest fight against floyd and that floyds style poses problems for pac also everybody makes this big deal about mosley but mayweather called him out a few yrs back was he scared? all advisor/promoters handpick guys only guys trying to make a name for themselves call everybody out and guys who's career is almost over

 

arum will stop mayweather vs pac because he says floyd is delusional to even think he'd get a 50/50 spit which floyd isn't takin less than any fighter. why should he? everybody pays to see him lose than find tons of excuses as to why the other guy lost. odlh was weight drained @ 147 floyd went to 154 and fought him. hatton says loss tofloyd was worse cause he got beat and broken down
