The first breed of super-heavyweights with every element of his package on point. The only one who can physically move the way he does at his size. Never been seen before.

The only thing you could draw against him from a casual point of view was that it seemed like his offensive output seemed weak but then again for those who know it's only because he chose to fight this way.

Once in a generation type of fighter. Appreciate it whilst it's here for another 2-3 years. I don't expect to see another heavyweight like him...probably ever. In 100 years of boxing history certain men stood out for whatever reason and Fury sure is one of them.

On a final note anyone who thinks AJ has more than a 20% chance of beating him needs to wake up from their stupor. Jesus christ.

6'8" 270 pounds of Gypsy King, The old ones say Spartans are descended from Hercules himself. Bold John Fury gives testament to his bloodline.

Wallin almost defeated him. If Fury fought and beat more top fighters we would know how good he really is.
At the moment his resume is very thin.
He beat grandpa Klitschko and Wilder, who has 0 skills.

Cool story. Every fighter has a bad day. Granpa Kitscko still would have beat everyone but him and AJ at that time (AJ just surviving 2 years later). Wilder ducked said Granpda in 2014 for another granddad in Ortiz.

If Fury's bad day is winning a majority of rounds with a terrible cut then that's pretty damn good. Wallin executed a great gameplan and was not intimated by Fury like Wlad and Wilder were. Fury looked probably the worst I've ever seen him in 10 years that fight but still grinded out a win. That's an outlier fight that everyone is afforded.

If Fury retires now he won't be rated high.
You just assume that he is a complete package, but his best win is a 40 year old.
    Let's be realistic.
Wladimir was not a bad fighter at 40, but nowhere near when he was 30-35 under Steward.

Fury would beat any version of Wlad

    Big stiff idiot

Jab. 1,2 and a leaping left hook. predictable. Control freak. useless. Even after throwing 0 punches against Fury he was gassing out by round 8. Big man used to knocking over them 6'4" plodders didn't like the big man moving on him did he?

What is so good about Wlad's resume? knocking over small big stiff idiots for 10 years? That's all that counts for Wlad is his longevity as a champion.

Hence why Steward spoke the gospel on Fury in 2011 after he came into camp with Wlad and Wlad didn't even want to look him in the eye and then got schooled in a sauna. Poetic. Fury saved the HW division.

Fury will retire unbeaten and all that will be said to disregard him is how many defenses he had but he gives a flying goose....I don't care if you've been a 5 years champion (wilder) and defended against BUMane Stiverne and Charles Martin.

Look how Fury dealt with all his "toughest" opponents, blew them out of the water like nobody has ever done.

Destroyed Hammer like nobody else has
Destroyed Chisora like nobody else has
Destroyed Wlad and took his soul
Destroyed Wilder and took his soul

He’s high on the “what he would do” rankings. Pretty low on the “what he has done” ones.

All this wank over Fury and he's never defended a belt. He went into a booze and coke bender rather than give Klitschko a rematch. He has no fear of giving Wilder another rematch because Wilder has no skills and is a crappy, paper champion

Plus Fury doesn't need to be covered in tats to be a fake tough guy like Wilder. Tyson ink free.

Won every major belt in boxing excluding an olympic medal because he wasn't afforded the opportunity?

Defeated two long reigning champions in their back yards

Unbeaten despite being the underdog in more fights than most champions ever get called an underdog in.

    Fury is legit

No. People are getting bigger that’s all, and so more pool to draw from.

Lewis was the first SHW to be able to move like he did too.

Ali was the first HW of that size to move like that too.

You got NBA players of similar size far more athletic than Fury over the last few decades, so the talent for a man that size has always been there, just none that went into boxing.

Most modern day heavyweights are slow fat titays. I agree Fury has advantage over most heavyweights today. 6'9 with good movement in the ring. Very rare to find. A guy like Ruiz has quick hands but also fat and slow on his feet.

I believe if Fury fought Ruiz it would be a schooling but close fight. But once again Fury size and movement will be too much for the slow fat Ruiz to over come.

Wlad also did a lot of things, which Fury didn't. For example, he dominated HW division for over 11 years and was a champ for 13 years total.
You can't even compare their achievements.
