This is like a VERY poor man's David Haye vs. Nikolai Valuev, almost.

 

Well, just like Haye a dozen years ago, the much smaller Khlebnikov managing to get in some David vs. Goliath overhands and make the huge lump feel his power. I give Khlebnikov the second, knotting them at 19 apiece now. (for what that's worth; pretty sure this is an exhibition, and the rounds have felt like they've flown by, might only be 2min)

 

Vildanov's left tit alone is the size of Khlebnikov's face.

 

Okay, they only did three rounds, wonder if they will even declare a winner..

Nope, ref lifts both their arms. Participation trophies for all.

 

Their back-and-forth trash-talk is lasting longer than the fight did.

 

Khlebnikov must be a David Haye fan, seriously, that haircut is a direct ripoff of Hayemaker's in 2009. I guess it makes sense that the Valuev fight got a lot of eyeballs in Russia; he was a pretty major international sports hero for them for a time, despite being kind of a running joke for the rest of the world.

 

Artem Tarasov vs. Tyson Djone, ?? rounds @ heavyweight

Another circus act exhibition. Tarasov is a "blogger" originally, from what I've read in shoddy Google translations from a Russian article spotlighting the upcoming Datsik fight, but he does apparently have some MMA fights under his belt. Djone is the guy that Datisk beat up in his last two exhibitions - oh, and he's this clown:

If we sit through all the goofiness there is one more legit sanctioned pro bout as our reward at the very end of the rainbow.

 

Both quite jittery and amateurish, and their balance is garbage.


Djone actually looks the part of a prizefighter, though, holding up a proper guard and slips a few punches by jerking his upper body outside. He might have tickled Tarasov with a couple of jabs, too, so, meh, 10-9 for the Cameroonian.

 

Bit of wrestling, and then lots of running by Tarasov. Both men have landed stray big shots almost by accident. Neither seems to have the power to put the other away, not with any of this obliquely clipping stuff anyway.
