The best version of Snipes takes the place of Louis and fights rising contender Marciano for a shot at Walcott... does Snipes get past the Rock from Brockton?

I have to go with Mister Snipes to force a ref stoppage in the 10th. A wreck of an old one handed mummy in Louis did a number on The Rock's face as it was.

    Marciano.

Snipes was willing and hit hard, but that goes double for Marciano. Marciano also has a proven pedigree against his era whereas Snipes does not. Snipes' record is somewhat flattering and he received some decisions that if reviewed, he probably ought not have.

Snipes might be good enough to bust up Marciano s face a little but Rock finds a way to ko him .

Dear god...is this a real question? The 80's Renaldo Snipes, whose entire career highlight reel would basically be landing one good punch against Holmes in a fight that he lost?

Or is there another Renaldo Snipes that I don't know about that might have some compelling chance against one of the greatest ever?

He had a top win over Berbick as well and lost a tight one to Witherspoon which could have went either way right before Witherspoon fought Holmes. He definitely had his moments.

I like Renaldo. A "junk" fighter. That style never does last at the top. But they do make for interesting bouts. But Snipes always kept himself in shape, at a time when his contemporaries did not.

But he has no chance against Rocky. But what he would do is hang tough and give 100% in a loss. I could see that sneaky oddball right hand hurting Rocky. Not finishing him or maybe not even knocking off his feet, but I can see him shaking/wobbling Marciano up at some point. But that's different than winning.

I kinda like Snipes, he was fun to watch and full of fire. I think a Marciano fight would be a classic tbh, he'd be a gritty opponent while it lasted.

Sorry Seamus but you as BIASED as Leftist at a Trump ralley...you give Marciano ZERO respect! I mean Renaldo Snipes, his only claim to fame was dropping Holmes who was dropped by every righthand puncher that had more than 16 fights! Sorry but hard to take you serious when it comes to Marciano! You have a good boxing mind but the bias of your heart diqualifies any rational thought your mind may be able to muster.
