you have to hope Rendall will use his boxing earnings to pay off his mortgage. That way when his retires his binman job will actually be a decent wage.
The BBC reported his purse as £100000, and he's already stated that the money is going stringht into his bank account. I don't think any of us need to worry about Rendal's money management skills, the fact that he's hung onto his day job should give you an insight into his thinking. Good luck son
I bet you also believe that Ricky Hatton always ate a fried breakfast on the morning of the fight. That really makes him one of the lads doesn't it?And I bet you also loved him for it.
your an idiot, he obviously loves his day job, working the bins isn't exactly a full time job anyway. he works pretty much full time and is a working class hero and an inspiration.
Im told by a mate who works with Rendall ,that he uses the bin round as road work and just follows the bin van doing the bins as he goes along. Then drives from leicester to nottingam to train from work. Rendall lives a modest life from what Im told, he lives in a avarage house and drives a ford. I would say Rendall is one of the lads. He does a lot to suport the amature in clubs in leicester. I can name two clubs he has given money to and no end of charty event he has attended. He is all ways happy to talk to fans and sign autographs ect. I would say he biggest downfall was the lack of a good venue in leicester to promote him on. Pyatt and Sibson had Granby halls to fill, Leicester seems to lack a good boxing venue.
:thumbsupnice one for that, seems like a top bloke,he should be earning more so he could give up work, make boxing his work, shame really
