When we see guys turning up for pay cheque and guys avoiding fighting each other i think we should all applaud Rendall Munroe for not just being our British Warrior but a Warrior of the sport. He fought on taking hard body shots and being hurt at various points.

He wouldn't lay down and quit he fired back under intense fire and heard the final bell.

I'm not a fan of praising losing and losers but Rendall went out there and put on a brave effort and deserves massive props.

    My Thoughts on the fight

Rendall lack of power really came back to haunt him today. Nishioka IMHO was worried of his size and strength early on but once he felt Munroe's arm punches he settled to the task and used his speed and skills. Rendall sadly lacks in that department but can walk away with head held high and can if in right mind go back for one more tilt at a title.

Would love to see him go full time! I think he still has a lot to offer at this level. Think it was a massive jump in standards and he didn't disgrace himself.

Obviously bit early to start asking what next for Rendall but up to you guys...Just think he deserve props for a brave and spirited effort in the lions den!

He can come home with his head held high.

I really hope he gets a shot at Molitor soon.

Munroe can come back from that. Showed an incredible punch resistance and heart in that fight. No disgrace in losing to the best out there on away soil. Even though he was outclassed for the most part today, I still feel he can pick up a belt.

Anyway, well done Munroe you did your fans proud!

Rendall's definitely world class, easily top ten anyway you look at it. Hope Frank can get him a shot at Molitor in his next fight, **** having a warm up. Every fight will seem easy after this.

Some extra power would have made this fight closer. It was alarming how much nishioka could get off to the body. Rendall did not disgrace himself, went into someones back yard, and was a warrior. Massive respect to him though. If he went full time I am sure he could improve.
    You did your country proud!

He showed real guts in that fight, feel bad for him, it's a disappointing result but fair play to him for taking the risk and giving it his all. I thought at one time he was going to come on and win it, but Nishioka showed he's got power and skills.

The scorecards were def a bit harsh on Rendall. Nish did win most the rounds but not many of them were domination.

Rendall is such a difficult fighter to face and it takes a perfect gameplan to beat him, which Nishioka pulled off tonight. Munroe has one of the biggest hearts in all of British boxing and hopefully he can get another shot down the line.

Tonight would have given him a wealth of experience, lets hope he can use it to good effect.

Well done Rendall, still a champ to us! :good

That was a great effort against a quality champ. Those body shots for were hurtful shots. He should be proud of that effort and i expect him to beat Molitor if they ever fought.

I absolutely love a fighter who will travel and give it their absolute all. People like him and Froch should be commended for their effort across the sea. It's beautiful stuff.

Molitor would be ideal. He needs to fight another grinder so he can take him on at what he's best at. Anyone too slick and I'm afraid he doesn't cut the mustard. He has great conditioning and heart but not enough power or slickness. There are plenty of good fights out there for him though.

I wouldn't jump back in to world title level right away. Maybe a tune up then Molitor. And he needs to go full time to maximise his chances which is stating the bleeding obvious but still

A brave effort, he did himself proud. As already stated, his lack of power was decisive in that he was unable to hurt Nish.

Credit to him though, he can come back from this, no doubt.
