Munroe is the champion and holds all the cards.

Unless he loses a purse bid and is forced to go over, Martinez has to make all the concessions.

Boxing News says Rendall may fight Molitor in an IBF eliminator, though assuming Caba is moving up it may be for the vacant title.

Therefore Dunne would be the genuine WBA 'ordinary' champ, and if Munroe beats Molitor then the bin man vs. the chin man would be a genuinely big event.

However, I think Molitor would win a decision in a competitive fight anywhere but Leicester.

If Caballero moves up I'd reckon the IBF would sanction Munroe vs Molitor for the vacant title.

They are rated #3 and #4 respectively - no ratings for #1 & #2, so it makes sense.

Much more sense than a Martinez fight, though he is still ranked #7 :nut

Looks like a good deal for Munroe whatever happens. Sure a 3rd fight with Martinez is a pain in the bollocks but if it opens up a crack at the IBF belt then its something he shouldn't complain about. Just get in, get the win and move on to a title shot.

And if they don't want him to fight Martinez in an eliminator he skips right to Molitor and a title shot. I don't see how he can come out without a big smile on his face regardless.

Sure its ridiculous that the IBF want to make Munroe Martinez III. It's ridiculous that Martinez is that high in their rankings. But its not a hinderance to Munroe. If I was offered a fight with a lad I had beaten twice, to open up a tilt at a world title, I'd be thinking happy days, bring it on.

The problems will start for Munroe if and when he gets to Molitor as it will represent a huge step up in class.

anyone played fight night round 3?

is kiko martinez, rendall munroe's "rival" slash whipping boy. this is comical, absoutly no reason. the ibf should sort somthing out. Maludrottu,Looknongyangtoy,Julio Zarate

what does martinez think about this? he mus be pretty pissed to put into a fight with a guy who has beaten him twice.

all honestly when have you seen a trilogy which was this uncalled for? martinez barely won 7 rounds in 2, 12 round fights. he has little chance of beating munroe.

there HAS to be abother opponant this is pointless. the ibf must be ashamed to even suggest it. if you said to one of your top ranked, you got to beat a guy you have beat 2 times before, who is now out of contention to be given the right to fight for our title.

very backwards. Rogers Mtagwa is ranked pretty high by the ibf and hasnt got a fight planned. this at least has some credability.
