How would we see this fight going? I don't think I'd put Rendall in with Lee or Vazquez Jnr but I give him a more realistic shot at beating the Canadian. Especially if he could tidy up his work and increase the urgency of it in this fight. Molitor, to me, isn't going to get any better and he's the weakest of the champions imo. He likes a trip to England. Whilst Munroe might not get it straight away I think Maloney should be thinking about it. Munroe should not have to go back to European level and keep mixing at world level. The only thing is he doesn't appear to have a ranking with the IBF but if the money is right then Molitor could make another voluntary. Unless he's having to face Ndlovu again who is his highest ranked contender I believe. What say you all?
This fight could happen. I think Munroe has another euro level fight or two and if he wins them he'll get a crack at molitor (if hes still champ). Molitor is interested in the fight - he told me prior to the Booth fight and i cant see him gettin g in the ring with Nishioka any time soon. I think Molitor still wins but it will be a lot closer than the Nishioka bout.
My mate and I were talking about this earlier. I think Molitor is there for the taking and I think its a winnable fight for Munroe. Could be a stadium filler in Leicster. I think Maloney will get him a comfortable come back fight and then save this one up for the summer.
You think Molitor will still be champ come the summer of next year? I really do think his next fight, unless it's easy easy easy, could be his last as world champ. He's ripe for the taking.
Winnable for Munroe. Not an open and shut case by any means but definitely a possibility. How about packing in the bins for a year and see how that works out there fella!
It depends how they match him. THe way I see it is he travelled for his last fight so he may well take a comfortable defence. He does look like his days are numbered to me.
Still a tough contest by any means...:yep I think that Rendall is more than worth a shot at Molitor...:deal
A world title makes a big difference. The people of Leicster would get behind him. So no I don't think I'm deluded. Mitchell filled the stadium for Katsidis, I see no reason why Munroe couldn't do the same.
Did he **** fill Upton Park...:nut Three stands were half full and most of the floor seats were empty...:yep I went and had a great spec of all the empty seats...:yep Get this fight at the NEC with a packed out card full of boxers who can play their part in filling it up...:yep Molitor is slick and it will be a real tough night for Rendall...:yep Lets not kid ourselves, Molitor is a quality operator, but Rendall has more than deserved his chance to mix it up at this level...:deal
Molitor is a quality operator but for guys like Munroe and as was proved with Hatton it's all about timing. Hatton caught Tszyu at the wrong end of his career and triumphed and whilst there are no similarities between opponent or fight here I do think if Maloney can engineer it that he'd be getting Molitor at the right time. Could be one of those memorable British nights y'know
Molitor is a good fighter but is coming towards the end of his career and he certainly aint as good as the Japanese guy (cant spell the name, sorry)Munroe fought today. If its the same Molitor that fought Booth,Munroe would get the title i think.
