Rendall Munroe vs. Simone Maludrottu

Only thing I'm putting money on is the over. These two couldn't knockout my Gran.

 

Really? Unless Maludrottu has a defence like Swiss cheese he should be able to keep Munroe out. Munroe seriously lacks punch technique and accuracy.

 

I see Munroe winning the decision, but the value bet is certainly on Maludrottu.

 

Maludrottu is certainly worth a stab..... I don't see him KO'ing Rendall though - so points it is.

Precisely. Maludrottu is likely to be a little bit faded at least and Munroe should do him on work rate if nothing else but if you fancy a flutter then Maludrottu is by far and away where the value is. I hear you can get up to 6/1 on the win for the Italian. Which is way overpriced because Munroe might be favourite but its not that clear cut. Plus the Italian boy might just get the nod from the EBU cronies if its anyway close

I think Munroe at the moment will take some beating. I would go for a Rendall decision win with him stretching a decent lead by the end.

Munroe should use Dunne as a stepping stone for a title shot though I can not see him beating any of the fighters around title class.

 

I think this is a WBC elminator is it not? If he comes through this we won't have to beat anyone as a stepping stone for a crack at Nishioka.

Whether or not Munroe is actually willing to step up and fight him is another matter. He's ranked #2 by the WBC at the minute. If he doesn't become #1 or a mandatory the only person ranked above him will be Rafael Marquez anyway and only a lunatic would fight him without a belt being up for grabs.

Personally, I don't think Munroe will take on Nishioka if he wins on Friday. I think Maloney is too cautious in moving him up. Sure he might not be at the top level in the division but he's about as good as hes going to get and he may as well have a crack at it. If he were to lose to Nishioka there is no shame in that and if he wins then he's made it

 

If you bet with different bookies you might be able to run with both, say £20 on one and £30 on the other and be guaranteed profit

Munroe could have had Martinez out a couple of times from where I was sat, though the videos might tell a different story - he might have improved his punch technique in his six month layoff, who knows?

 

Any more thoughts on this guys, before I make my investment?

 

Erm Wrong again ! ... Rendall lacks punch power but his accuracy is excellent .... hes a pressure fighter and wears opponents down ... a very underated fighter who fights to a gameplan !
