He's alright but didn't agree with him winning boxer of year in 2010. I'd throw Frampton into fight him. Worst case he gets a 12 round boxing lesson without taking a lot of damage.
Rendalls a bit like 1-0 to the arsenal... hes efficient and good at what he does... Hes in the business of winning fights and thats what he does... Some of you dicks on ere should stick your Rocky box sets on if you want KO's n blood n guts ! Rendalls a good boxer with a cracking workrate ...
Didn't think it was that bad really. Bit strange how the support has really dwindled for Rendall on here since his World title shot, hes had a couple of 'boring' showings in his last 2 but hes had plenty of good fights for him not too be labelled boring. Terrazas, Maludrottu, Martinez fights and the loss to Nishioka were all enjoyable to watch. It's good to see him try work on his boxing as he's a bit one dimensional at the very top level. We'll see the best of him again :godo
But thats the worry the workrate isnt there in his last 2 fights, and I think that is becuase of problems making weight
Munroes one of the most intelligent boxers we have in the UK ... yeah you maybe right re the weight but he was winning both fights and knew that hence he didnt have to move through the gears like he did against Martinez in particular ..
This thread is a shocker - Maludrottu was one of the fights of the year, Terrazas was exciting as was the first Martinez fight. Last two contests have been bland but that doesn't make him a dull fighter generally. I'm not saying Frampton can't beat him but what on earth has he done to make anyone think he will? Who's his best win against? It's a different level.
Nishioka is a pretty good fighter, and got underrated going into his fight with Munroe. He displayed really nice skills and completely out-fixed Munroe.
I think he's overrated a tad off the back of it. Very good fighter, but a bit more exploitable than some believe in my opinion.
