They might as well pick a top 10 domestic 122 fighter. A 3-2-1 for a title just looks bad on the record. It makes the belt a joke.

I've been saying on another thread how I sincerely believe that he has the ability to box rings around Dunne but this is embarassing. He should just stick to EBU defences if this is the kind of rubbish the Commonwealth are going to throw up.

Surely Simone Maludrottu, with his controversial win over Damien Kelly and a victory over Ian Napa would be interested in another EBU shot?

If domestic why not Munroe vs Matthew Marsh??? I think that would be an excellent fight.

 

He has no chance of beating Dunne. Dunne is a world class fighter. Thus far Rendall has only demonstrated that he is a fortunate domestic title holder. He is yet to really capatalise. He was out maneuvered by Andy Morris and Morris, as talented as he is, is not a world class fighter.

Well at least he's keeping busy. He's fighting 12 rounders every 3-4 months which isn't bad going. Admittedly though this opponent is sub-standard.

 

Let's tell it like it is people, this is a disgrace. Maloney has some serious explaining to do and I hope Bunce asks him about it next time he's on his show.

 

Dunne beats Munroe. Dunne's only loss came cause he got caught early on and isn't the strudiest.

How much of Dunne have you seen?

I have seen 15+ Dunne fights and know his ability boxing wise. Munroe is nowhere near Bernard on an ability level, the gap is massive

Munroe only has one chance, thats Dunnes weak chin. Otherwise Dunne outboxes big time

 

Munroe is euro class but no more. doesnt have the power nor the boxing skills etc needed to be world class. even still munroe is divisions above this guy. its fights like this that make people question boxings place at the top table of sport. how would it be if man utd played a conference team every week? also the chance of a serious injury occuring? i wana see maloney justify this.



im with jeff, bernard dunne would take munroe to school. all that good sparrin in the wild card must have paid off

 

This is why Munroe vs Dunne would be an excellent fight. There seems to be a 50/50 split as to who people think will win...

 

I think he should acquire the C'Wealth. It shows more dominance in his divison before he steps up BUT I don't understand why a half decent Brit/Euro contender cannot be found.
