Rendell is a top man, seen him supporting his mates down here at shows and was sitting behind me at the Katsidis fight.

Whether he'd fill a football ground or not is another matter.

Would be great if they could get the fight over here.

he doesnt have to do 30k. just cut the ground of like they did for Mitchell and get 20k in there.

if its in the UK i make it a 50-50.

Just imagine, if Poonsawat moves up to Featherweight, and Munroe and Booth both win, a fight between them would be for the lineal championship!!

It would be great if it was at Leicester City's ground, I love Walkers Crisps...:blurp

Although I would hate football fans to start knocking **** out of each other on the strength of a boxing match...:yep

How big is the Leicester Tigers ground, if it is smaller it could be better...:think

Yep, except for the fact that neither of them would've beaten 'the man' in the division.

Nishioka will smash Munroe IMO. Regardless of teh country the fight is held in.

its 30,000 but they would have it in one hald of the pitch, same as the Mitchell show at west ham.

yeh football fans make it **** got beaten up at mitchell fight.

Leicester Tigers ground is quite a bit smaller, but our Health and Safety friends wouldn't allow it..... a lot of it is standing room only.

The only way to watch football/rugby :yep

If it's in September then the problem is going to be fixture clash but probably the weather would be more of an issue to put a stop to an outside arena.

Did anyone go the eliminator at Cov? If so how big was the venue?

Putting this on at the walkers would be daft. I went to the Mitchell fight and it's unlikely I'll ever go to another stadium show, we were at the front of a stand and still to far away.

Given that Munroe's profile is such that he's unknown outside of his mates and fairly serious boxing fans the ideal place would probably be Birmingham arena. And even that would be pushing it.

I think they could do 8-10,000 tickets for this fight. The 'working-class hero going for a world title' angle could really sell tickets.

putting mitchell at west ham made it shift another 10,000 tickets. would have the same affect if Munroe starts walking around press confrences on sky sports with gary liniker and a blue jersey on.
