Pow Salud was really fired up for this one, huh? :sisi1 Like, from the first bell, until several minutes after they stopped it during the wait for the scorecards, with literally nothing happening, still yelling.

Red Bull gave him wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiings, especially with the dozen espresso shots and gram of cocaine he must've stirred into the can.

    Official scorecards:

    Silvestre Abainza 65-64
    Nic Banal 66-64
    Brembot Dulalas 65-65

Majority technical decision for Cuarto - who IMO basically lost all six completed rounds including the second and sixth if you take away the flash KD in the former and bogus KD in the latter. :duh

So because Taduran had a 10-7 round, that means Nic Banal to have it 66-64 in Cuarto's favor had to have given Taduran only two rounds? :dunno How?

Poor Pedro can't catch a break. Another bad decision for Cuarto. The first one was just corrupt. This one a bit more debatable but in the end it's a RBR scoring system and Taduran won enough rounds to edge this. Cuarto must have some really powerful friends. It's crazy that they're pushing a guy like him. Taduran is the better fighter and also much more entertaining if you wanna sell him.

My goodness, the main event was tough to watch. The limited camera angles made it difficult enough but the awkward fighting styles and the less than stellar referee really made for unenjoyable viewing.

He's usually a good ref, this was an off day.

He was coming back from nearly a two year layoff. Safe to say he was rusty lol

    Just some interesting notes.....

This is the SECOND TIME he was deducted TWO POINTS for an INTENTIONAL HEADBUTT. The first time was 3 and a half years ago in a UD win against Clyde Azarcon. Who deducted those two points from him in that fight? Also DANREX TAPDASAN. We didn't see what happened today because of the feed cutting but he was probably rightfully strict for a reason.

This is the SECOND TIME Taduran has suffered at least a knockdown AND an opponent intentionally headbutting him. The first time was his vacant world title win against Samuel Salva, whom he ended up stopping, unlike today.

Wow, a two year layoff is a pretty long time for a ref. Any idea why the long layoff?

He was part of the broadcast during the two fights before the main event. I think he stated it was due to the pandemic.
