    Racked up a 72-16 (26) amateur record, captained his uni team, signed to Suruga boys gym in Shizuoka but will be training at the Misako Gym (Kenshiro, Obara, Horikawa, Sagawa, Nakagawa et Al are there), very highly regarded in Japan with talk that he's expected to be the first world champion from a gym in Shizuoka
