Cant wait for the fight, watching it live on ther superchannel at 5pm in canada. People talk mad **** about solis but bottom line he is a really great fighter and looks to be well prepared. He's one of the best in the world. He would pretty much beat or contend with HW in the world face it people. This guy has been one of the best HW propects. Fled cuba so he could box and get his shot at the HW title.

Im hoping for a great fight tomo, I think it will be the best HW title fight in a while. Action Packed VK will be tested and he know that. VK isnt taking this fight lightly one ****ing bit cause he know.

People should repect Solis for what he has done to get here.

    Give of a show

What has he done that sticks out in contrast to other fighters?

Other then come into the fight of his life weighing 247 pounds. :patsch

His job is to fight. He is getting paid millions, and he still shows up in **** poor shape. ****ing disrespectful. To the fans, himself, and his opponent. That goes for any lard ass that can't get themselves into decent shape.

Seemingly a popular trend nowadays because these guys are getting away with it due to the lack of competition. So they don't even have to try and they hit the top 10 if they have the talent. Work ethic need not apply.

He needs to respect the sport first by coming in shape.

Not really, the amateurs are one thing and pro is something else. To go from the most accomplished amateur to pro is just a logical step and he starts at 0 just like everybody else. He just goes in more polished.

No disrespect to Solis, but I beleive he is in over his head. I've seen him fight a few times and maybe I am missing something. He beat Monte Barrett and Ray Austin, both respectable fighters and previous title challengers in a weak division. That's it! I can't help but believe he is living off a very good amatuer career. Even at 247 which is low for him, he looks like he could lose another 40-50 lbs. I don't understand fighters that neglect conditioning. I think Solis vs Areola or Chambers would be better and more competative fights and more fun to watch.

It doesn't matter to me if he's one of the best. He's pissing on our sport with his lack of discipline and preparation.

I hope he gets knocked out and learns the hard way. You want to get to the top and make the big paydays you think you deserve then work for it. It's a lifestyle.

    Agree.

We'll probably see Solis take those two on, soon enough, after he starts to battle way back from tomorrow's thrashing.

he deserves more respect than Povetkin that after getting a shot at the title went hiding under Atlas skirt and afraid of WK.

247 is still way too high. He's going to be easy work for VK.

After he loses, he will claim that he over trained, and go back to weighing 260 when he fights some bums.
