Just watched Gregory vs Scott after work today.
Impressive performance by Scott who although unpolished really took it to Gregory and just shut him down.
Does Franklin do any better here and how?

I'll have to watch the Scott fight but I've always thought it was another one of Eddie's 'head-case' days.
He and Matt actually fought around 77-ish with Eddie getting the UD (Matt did deck him though but no one keeps Eddie down).
I've said this many times but had Eddie had his head on straight we would be thinking of him as an all-time great, the complete package.
IMO better than "The Jinx"! After blubbering up to 200 to fight Snipes??? He had to lose major pounds to even make LH weight. Had a comfortable lead halfway through before running out of gas. Spinks decked him late with a Sunday "Jinx" and Eddie got up and continued. Despite Eddie coming in unprepared the Associated Press STILL called their fight a draw. I'd like to meet Eddie and tell him how much talent he had (and p I s s e d away) but he'd probably nail me with a left hook to the ribs. :)

I think Saad would do better than Gregory against Scott.. He was always in terrific condition and got stronger as fights went to the later rounds. He was mentally tougher than Gregory. It would have been a war. I don't know if Saad would have won, it would have been close.

I agree about Gregory. His lazyness really held him back.
More i think about it i c Franklin coming on in mid rounds dropping Scott a few times and taking a UD

Saad probably wins a close one in a bruiser.

Saad would beat Scott and so would Gregory in a different setting on a different day.
