    My thoughts exactly.

Old Foreman has a better jab than Wilder, in fact, it was his best weapon imho. It's a big, meaty, tree trunk of a jab and you could see it moved the guys it hit. Unfortunately Wilder's defence is leaky at best, and he's going to be eating them all night. Wilder doesn't have the footwork to work the angles and old Foreman could probably plod away for 25 rounds at his measured pace without tiring. His chin was absolutely solid so Wilder will have great difficulty in making his "get beat up for 5 rounds then KO the dude" plan work. Wilder might see the end but he'd be a platefull of lumps by then.

That first clip was just funny to me. That was an utterly smashing uppercut and Foreman just turns his back and ambles away. He knew that the other guy was done off that one punch.

That's how I see it too. If Washington could out box Wilder with his mediocre jab, Foreman will have a field day with his ramrod jab and as you say Wilder's power probably won't be enough to put away Foreman. Wilder would need to grind him down to stop him, one or two big punches every few rounds won't be enough to stop Foreman. But if he tries to grind him down with volume and windmills he likely gets KO'ed by Foreman.

Wilder might go the distance and win a controversial decision like Briggs did by being busier and stealing rounds, we all saw how the judges scored the Ortiz fight and nobody thought Wilder was winning but those judges. Wilder would need to show us more than he has so far to confidently pick him over even an old Foreman.

Wilder is all wrong for 90’s Foreman, he’s fast and moves a lot…If he caught Wilder, fight over though…70’s Foreman destroys Wilder…

But 90’s version I would give about 40% chance…Foreman who fought Moorer gets ko’d…

What exactly did Cooney do to prove he was better than Wilder?

Big George would flatten Windmill. Those Bambi legs would be all over the place.

Big George hit way way harder than old man Ortiz who only failed to finish the job because of his heart issues.

Agree pretty much with this post. If Wilder uses those long legs to jab and run for 12 he could probably get a decsion, but if it came down to even a short brawl, Foreman knocks him clean out.
