    Victory by low blows and even if you think that was legal Kov wasn't out or anything. He could have continued. Jesus christ that was awful.

    Kovalev was hurt and out on his feet from a HEAD SHOT.

    People are talking about low blows, that's still up for debate, but those shots were not what put Kovalev in trouble in the first place.

    Kovalev didn't react well, he was hurt, he looked like he was going to get stopped even before those "controversial" shots landed.

    Ward was significantly the better guy on the night, the guy now needs to be ranked alongside Mayweather and Pacquaio.

    Didn't Ward land a low blow before the headshot too? I think so. Regardless, that headshot definitely had him hurt.

    That was sad to see.

    Unfortunately, this is what you get when Ward fights.

    Still, credit to Ward for digging in during that round. I had him down 3 points at that moment, as the one judge did and as Lederman did.

    Kovalev himself confirms they were "Borderline". Then says "low blows". They werent low blows. They were on the belt line.

    They touched the belt line, but mostly below it, that's a low blow. It's pretty clear in the replay. You cannot possibly say the punch was squarely on the belt line.

    None of them were egregious nut shots a la Golata v Bowe or Cotto v Judah. The win is legit.
