    It's called boiling down.

Hatton is as true LWW (Jnr WW) it is his division, always been, he knows how to make this weight. All this means is he will be bigger come fight night. You only have to make the weight for 30 seconds:when you are stood on the scales.

This is irrelevant bull****, eben if it is true, which I seriously doubt.

I sure as heel hope there is no truth to this topic. I want both fighters to be in tip top condition and bringing their A games. I want and expect a war.

If this is true, Hatton's metabolism at his age must have slowed down. His lifestyle must have taken its toll on him. You cannot cheat nature all the time. His body must be telling him to go up in weight or retire. It happens to the best fighters. Damned, it happened to Pacquiao himself twice. It's the natural course our body has to take. Guzman, a featherweight, failed to make weight at lightweight. Campbell also failed. It's not unusual for the metabolism of anyone, including you and me, to slow down.

I'm confident he'll make weight. He trains extremely hard and has always made it. He's a natural light-welter, he fights 10 stone perfectly.

I don't see why he would be struggling to make weight now, he looks healthier, he didn't blow up as much between the Malignaggi & this fight as much as he usually does, and he's been in Vegas and in training longer than usual.
