    :lol::lol:

    you're a hypocrite.

5 months ago, Mayweather to you, would never fight Shane. Now he's fighting him, you consider Mosley washed up.

What don't you understand about moral victory????

I was wrong and admit it.

But do you think I made conclusions based on wild guess? Your lover himself said so that he will not fight Mosley!

I never said Mosley is washed up. I said he is old.

There is a big differnce. An old fighter might have the skills and a slight decrease in speed but he gains more power being accustomed to that weight for a long time. However, endurance will always be an issue, and against Mayweather, if he decides to potshot, it would be a long night for Mosley.

I have been consistent with that stand and it seems that you simply don't get it!!!

I was just wondering why you think that Mayweather will fight Mosley?

Your lover made it a public statement that he will not fight Mosley for several reasons elaborated previously, to wit :

    1. Mosley has 5 losses.

    2. Mosley cheated and Mayweather stated he will never fight a cheat.

    3. He is already past the limelight.

etc. which I can not recall.

Is it the belief that all is talk, yet you believe everything that Mayweather is spouting? Or is it the only thing that makes you sane by believing that Mayweather would eventually grow balls?

One time I believed in Mayweather and he made an about face.

I never though PBF would fight Shane, like somebody said a couple of months ago: It took a natural disaster for SSM-PBF to happen.

I felt obligated to come here as I did say he would never fight him.

Just remember it hasn't happened yet. It has also come a little late for shane but hey ho.

I never thought it would happen but now it has lets see what happens.

I think shane could cause some problems so at 4/1 I will be haing a punt.

By tried, did you mean he talked about it?

Did Bob Arum ever discussed this supposedly "try" to Mosley's manager or promoter ever or was it just a lip service?

Man you seriously need to give up and realise Mayweather is fighting the best welterweight out there at the moment. Old or not Mosley could still clean up the division now apart from possibly Floyd or Pac.

Its funny how when Floyd was "ducking" Mosley age was never an issue. Immediately after the Floyd/Mosley incident in the ring after the Marquez fight, posters were going wild saying Floyd would never fight Mosley, and Mosley would destroy Floyd and so on. Now as soon as Floyd signs, Mosley is old and shot? Hypocritical Haters at their best!

Give up? Done that long time ago.

It is funny how Floydettes want to age issue not to be discussed at all. I mentioned once in a thread that Mosley is 39 and some rabid (and as usual idiotic) fan again jumped to a conclusion that old is "washed up", or "past his prime", or as insult to Mayweather.

Age is a objective measurement, unlike skills, ring generalship, "ring smart", toughness, and yet we can not even mention it without putting a negative twist to it?

I really do not know what Floydettes want? When you state that Mosley is prime, they will react. When you say he is a 39 years old fighter, they will react.

If that suits you, then nobody would mention Mosley's age of 39 again.

Here's my take. Hardly any fighter is scared to fight another fighter. 90 something percent of the time, if a fight makes sense for both fighters then it will happen. Fights don't happen because it doesn't make sense for at least one of the parties involved. This is the first time that this fight has made sense for both guys. There have been times when this would've been a good fight for Floyd but not for Shane. There have times where this would've been a good fight for Shane but not for Floyd. It now makes sense for both guys, and it's a bigger fight now than it ever could've been.

If you follow this philosophy, you'll be better at predicting what fights will and will not happen at a given time. When you start to introduce other bull**** into the equation like one guy is scared, or some other nonsense, you do foolish things like making lifetime ban bets that a fight will never happen even though it makes sense for all parties involved.

I've never bought into the "scared" arguments. Fighters on this level are not "scared". Floyd does value his '0' very much though and Mosley had a realistic chance of taking that, he still does, so if Floyd could have avoided it, he would have. Case in point, look at why he chose to take on JMM instead of Mosley and even gone as far as claiming it was because JMM was a bigger draw as his reasons.

This fight with Shane Mosley after everything coincidentally fell into place, Pac-Floyd fell out, Earthquake, it was pretty much impossible to avoid. Maybe Floyd would have wanted the fight regardless but we will never know.

Its not important anyways, their fighting thats all that matters.
