At the end of the day thats all that maters, right?
I wasnt basing my thoughts simply off mayweather saying what he said. Theres no contradiction. I rarely take what he says purely at face value. But every time mosley's name was mentioned floyd showed absolutely no interest in that fight, and immediately degraded shane. Just like he did with margarito. And cotto. Based off his history, I think I had good reason to believe that he didnt want to fight shane.
Thats my opinion. I believe that if it wasnt for the position mayweather was in he wouldnt be fighting shane. You dont believe that, then thats you.

Me either! Wife's Birthday is on Saturday so I somehow managed to celebrate her bday on Friday!:happy Now I can focus on what's important.....Floyd vs Shane! I think many of us will be surprised with Floyd.....I feel Floyd is going to set out to prove a lot of nay sayers wrong regarding his "cautious" style. I think we'll see a "FIGHT" and not a boxing exhibition. Grant it....I'm sure Floyd wont' be going toe to toe all night but he'll be doing it more I think!

he never wanted to fight Mosley

When Larry Merchant intervied him a week after the Marquez fight and asked him about a potential fight with Shane

He simply replied " I wish Shane Mosley nothing but the best in his career " meaning he had no intentions at all of even fighting shane

and then when the fight was made,Floyd want to say hes been wanting this fight for so long....come on now

Anyway im lookin forward to this fight and i will give Floyd much credit if defeats Mosley who is the Welterweight king currently

 

Look, what can you not understan about something like "I would like to take a vacation first." Is it my own word? If Mosley said he wants to rest, I believe he is entitled to that as he was the one who fought in the ring, not SDSFINEST.

I assume that anytime someone challenges after a fight that it would not be OK to say "I will need to recover first" or "I will think about it." I think that what you are saying is that there is only one answer - "sure, any time."

If it was not just LIP SERVICE as usual, did he ever asked Arum to negotiate to have the fight done?

Type all you want, believe wahtever you believe, but fights will never happen in boxing because someone said "I want to fight you" without negotiations.
