Very sad to hear this, R.I.P. big fella.

As i young child the only boxers i could have named were Ali and 'Enry. One of few boxers to truly transcend the sport into the national conscience.

Tbh i don't know a massive deal about Sir Henry other then the basic facts and how good he was.

I'm sure there be a fantastic post in Encyclopedia thread about him in the next few months/weeks. I don't really know why i never looked at his career. Be interested to find out more about him he's one of great post war fighters this country has produced.

What a shame.

In fact Mand', he does get quite overrated IMO. But that doesn't detract from what he was; a solid Heavyweight contender who floored Ali close to the peak pf his powers :deal
