If box office clout is your measure of a fighter, then De La Hoya is just a beast then in the ring. It doesn't exactly take a great fighter to excite the British fans. Khan you dig?:good
Scar Johnson would embarass Rahman right now, though admittedly that doesn't say much since Hasim is shot.
I didn't see the Seldon fight but by all accounts he hurt Johnson. The guy can't punch and he's getting hurt by 40 some odd years old Bruce Seldon. Good choice Haye. :-( Rahman may be shot but he's the better choice here.
Wlad has beat Sultan Ibragimov, Tony Thompson and has another fight coming up against Alexander Povetkin. Were as Haye has done nothing but run his ****ing mouth for months, talking big! And now he may of pulled a ***** move trying to fight Kevin Johnson after all that talk. Pathetic! And he wants a title shot, by fighting Jonson what a laugh.
I hated Khan though, i ****ing loved watching him get knocked out, i also hate Hatton. Not all British people support British fighters atsch
The golfing sniper from south africa smoked him in 2, it'll be that all over again when he fights Haye. It'll be like the MATRIX in there!
My point is that the likes of Frank Bruno have had that type of turnout for his fights. Frank seemed like a likeable enough chap, but not nearly great as a fighter.
That was once vs a domestic rival, let's see if he can replicate that success. There is a lot of hype right now, so I am sure he will, but prior to the Macca fight Haye was a small hall fighter.
:yep Oh yeah, the great Tomasz Bonin, who in his previous match before meeting Haye, was dropped in the first round by a debuting fighter! I believe the 37-0 Faruq Saleem is available or maybe JD Chapman.
Haye also went to France to fight Mormeck in his own backyard, so i doubt hes scared of Rahman who is a KO victim waiting to happen.
not that bad a fight. johnson's a quick hw with a very good jab. when he commits, he's not feather fisted. if he takes the fight, i bet johnson would be super motivated as he appears to think he'll be champ one day and he'd realize he'd have to put in a good showing to get those paydays he wants. haye's still a wanker and hopefully johnson could pull the fight out.
