Reports that Haye offers Nov. fight to Kevin Johnson

It was a good win for Haye but Mormeck was damaged goods from the Bell fights and didn't really want to be there. It was written all over his face. Still floored Haye though. :hi:

If that was true the fight would have taken place in the O2. Promoters hold fights where the most money can be made, and 20,000 in the O2 brings a lot more money than 4500-5000 in the Sport Palais Marcel Cerdan.

 

Thats complete rubbish, Hatton vs Mayweather could of sold 100,000 at Wembley but it was in Vegas.

 

Someone get video of the Johnson vs Seldon fight. If Johnson was rocked badly by Seldon then he will most likely lose via KO within 3.

That is the idea: No punching power #1, # 2 a questionable chin. A perfect opponent for Haye at Heavyweight. He is at least probably better then Bonin who was a total bum with a huge padded record against horrible opponents.

 

That has to do with both men being HBO fighters, HBO doesn't care about live gate.

 

He is better than Bonin, and I'd pick him over Rahman now, but if his chin is bad, combined with his lack of power and lethargy and you got a nice looking win vs an undefeated big American with a top ten ranking.

 

Really over Rahman even now? I seen Johnson on Showbox and I seen nothing special about him. He has a decent jab, that is about it. Johsnon holds his hands low and gets hit by punches. He kind of reminds me of Jason Estrada, a fat guy with a good jab and nothing else.
