Just read this over on fightnews. Vitali's manager told a German paper that Valuev/Don King turned their final offer down. Vitali will fight Sosnowski on April 29th.

If this is true, I wonder what will happen to Audley. Maybe he's stepped aside in return for a shot at the winner .

According to the General, this is official and contracts have been signed. Fight might be in early May. **** fight IMO.

Third thread this morning mate. Apparently Audley is fighting someone else now, in April

This Sosnowki story seems to be building credibility though

Sosnowski is in for a tough night.

    Audley vs Chisora.

Sosnowski will hang around for 6-7 rounds but, in my opinion, will end up taking a bad beating.

    Chisora?

It'd be nice but Warren won't allow it at the moment... Shame really as I think a motivated Audley beats him.

Another fighter with a nice looking record to pad out Vitali's record.

Yup. Although it looks like King and Valuev were being awkward. Shame, it would have been interesting to see if Vitali would have knocked him out.

Vitali has a padded out record? :admin

We'll have to agree to disagree...

Vitali has dominated his era and the only guy who may be able to say that he is better is Wladimir...

I don't know mate, there's been a bit of padding in there. The Kevin Johnson fight has to be one of the most pointless defences of all time.

To be honest it is hard to see any fighters that have been worthy of fighting Vitali since his come back.

Vitali Klitschko has a ridiculously padded record and this fight is just more padding.

Arreola deserved his shot, he's just embarassingly out of shape. It sucks that we're going to get Vitali v Sosnowski instead of Valuev though. It's a pointless defence and waste of time all round.

Also, makes Haye v Valuev 2 more likely.

    Valuev sucks too.
The only reason people want to see him is they wonder how he'd look getting knocked out. There are lots of fighters out there who can outpoint him, and he's just crap.

He has some good names on his record (Sam Peter, Juan Carlos Gomez who was a very good cruiser, Chris Arreola, loss to Lennox etc), but the likes of Ross Puritty, Kevin Johnson, Vaughn Bean and Danny Williams are filler on his record.

Its not to say your not wrong in saying Vitali is only behind Wlad in this era of heavyweight boxing though.
