It's not that I don't really like him anymore, but it's mostly due to his poor performances against Mosley and then Marquez, which frankly raised my suspicion regarding the allegations made toward him regarding PED use. And then another poor effort against Bradley who Manny really should have beat, especially considering Bradley fought virtually on one foot and has no power. First I thought it was just a one off, but then I felt Marquez deserved the decision in their 3rd fight and he repeats it again against Bradley. After more thought and review of some of his previous fights where he was awesome I actually started to think there might be some truth to the PED talk. Even if there is no merit to it, to me he has at least suffered a decline in his energy and excitement, and that's enough for me to no longer anticipate his fights so much because I don't even expect to see fireworks anymore.
i think you can still get fireworks if you choose a fighter who will try to brawl with him. But at this weight, if a fighter can fight off the back foot and box him, manny is a bit lost. He doesnt have any size advantage, no ability to close down a fighter. He'd not as relentless, and it can make for a dull fight. put him in with a comeforward fighter and you'll get a good fight out of him, even now. I wouldn't worry about the PED thing. They'll all be on it. Even Floyd will have used them in his career.
I think you're right, but if he does fight someone aggressive with power at 147 I think he might get knocked out now. Like you so rightly said, he'll invariably be at a size disadvantage and seems to lack that same relentless attitude. I think you might be right about the PED statement too, in all forms of world class competition these days I believe they play a part. I'd actually like to see Ortiz fight Pacquiao, but I doubt it would happen.
This content is protected Pac after being countered in the first fight "Here i go . . .. Here i go . . . . **** this **** im outta here!" :rofl
I think Floyd, Bailey, Ortiz, Berto, Maidana, Garcia and Lopez could KO Pacquiao. I actually wouldn't even be surprised to see Marquez stop him. Without doubt though, I believe Floyd would definitely stop him.
Ortiz, Maidana, Bailey and Berto would never stand up to Pacquiao lol. Even Pacquiao in his current form.
this was the first round of their first fight and jmm admitted that he was surprised on how quick pacquiao was in closing the gap that he misjudges the distance. since then, he was always fighting on the backfoot exclusively against pacquiao. for other fighters, he doesn't hesitate to move forward even against floyd.
wtf was that :huh can anyone find the gif of pacman punching in circles or almost going out of the ring swinging at the ropes. they need to cut back on his dosages got pacman boxing out of control again.
I think every one of them has the power to stop Pacquiao. That's not to say I think it would happen, but I wouldn't count it out either. And to be clear, I meant current Pacquiao, and I'm surprised you don't think it at all possible. He offered nothing against Bradley to indicate otherwise. And it's been a slow process easily observable over his last few fights.
