Request suspension for Russell Mora

I request that he be punished with several hard shots to the balls.

 

I will not request he be suspended! He's human, he made a few mistakes! The better fighter won.. PERIOD!

I think the better fighter won myself. But it is a tainted win that has been completely overshadowed by a blatantly corrupt (those were NOT judgement errors) referee who absolutely SHOULD be....not suspended, but completely erased from Boxing for as long as he lives.

The same law that keeps pedophiles a safe distance away from schools should be applied to Mora keeping a safe distance away from Boxing gyms, Boxing arenas, stores that sell Boxing equipment, televisions that are showing Boxing, and any individuals discussing Boxing. He should be a registered Boxing offender.

I would disagree. The physical impact that his repeated assaults on Agbeko's groin had - well, it has to have been severe.

Imagine the pain you suffer when you get even a single, glancing blow to the groin. Can you remember the last time that happened? The agony radiating out throughout your abdomen, your abdomen tensing up and affecting your diaphram, causing you to breathe harder. The weakness spreading through your legs. The waves of pain that continue rolling on for minutes afterwards...

That alone can be incapacitating. To have this done repeatedly, by someone determined to abuse this vulnerability as much as possible?

How can you measure how much impact that would have on Agbeko? I don't think I could fight at even 50% effectiveness if that had happened to me. Maybe less. Maybe a lot less.

Mares is not the better fighter. If he hadn't of cheated against Agbeko he would have lost. There is a pretty good argument to say that he would also have lost against Darchinyan.

Agbeko had two wrong knockdowns called also. Without those, it would have been a split decision. How can you say that Mares is the better fighter when he can only get a split decision against a guy who is half incapacitated from Mares' cheating? In a fair fight it is clear that Agbeko would have won decisively.

What about Vic?

 

He shouldn't be suspended, he should be BANNED for life, there is absolutely no excuse for for what happened this weekend. In fact the contest should be chanced to a NC.
