They acknowledged that his nose was bleeding several times during the commentary. They even acknowledged how unusual it was, and how this was the first time Floyd has been in a war in a long, long time. So, what else would you have them say? I heard them also acknowledge many punches by Cotto, even a couple that I had to rewind to see. I think you're making an issue where there isn't one. Was the fight competitive? Yes. Did Floyd win more rounds? Yes. Was it a draw? No. Did Cotto win? No. Was Cotto competitive even in the rounds he lost? Yes. Did Cotto perform much better than the general boxing body assumed he would? Yes. To make a case for any more accolades for Cotto than this is BS.
If you did..I have 0 respect for you....note-THE FANS WALKED OUT OF MAYWEATHER COTTO AND RESPECTED THE SCORE....THE FANS WALKED OUT OF PACQUIAO-MARQUEZ 3 SAYING IT WAS A ROBBERY. Ur fault though ho.:hi:
Sluggles, you're cool. You don't make me want to vomit like most *******s. But I will have to flame war you if you continue with this nonsense. You have been warned.
This is a good card actually but I think Floyd won 3 and Cotto won 11 (I scored it 116-112 as well). A lot of ringside guys scored it 116-112 Floyd, including Fat Dan, SI and AP. So for those of you who think 116-112 is unreasonable- learn how to watch fights. 118-110 is unreasonable IMO. I agree with the commentary too, Steward says he has a good relationship with Cotto but you can sense a little bitterness in his voice. Plus HBO/PPV has a vested interest in keeping Floyd undefeated to make the "mega fight" with Pac more exciting. I mean, if Cotto beat Mayweather the numbers for the Pac /Floyd fight (if it ever happens) would drop off significantly.
