i had it a draw BUT if i had to make a decision i have to say eubank jr had BJS saunders more hurt in the fight. So that can't be ignored IMO if it went 1 more round i think BJS might of gone to the floor. one thing i have to say in a rematch i favour eubank jr
Yup, this. Inexperience cost Eubank Jr. Never mind if the fight had gone on one more round... flip it on its head and imagine if Eubank had gone to work one round earlier.... round 5 instead of 6. Why stop there... what if he had begun to throw some shots in round 4. Inexperience, a bit of stage fright, and - sorry Chris - a little bit of 'believing your own hype' and relegating an experienced trainer to a role of bucket-holder.. cost him this fight. The stage fright cost him the first 6 rounds, the inexperience led to him throwing nothing straight all night long and relying on uppercuts and home-run hooks. It ought to be the making of him. I think CEJ would win a rematch even though I like Saunders. As a fan I have to be honest and say that I prefer to watch fighters (any fighters) that have a bit of a dig on them so personally I struggle to buy into the whole 'journey' of someone like Saunders or, to name another, Frankie Gavin, as I know as they reach world level a bunch of 12 round snooze fests is really their only route. My personal preference, no need for any tears.
